Paolo Gregori:
born in Trento in 1941, he graduates in Forestry Sciences at the University of Florence in 1965 and starts working in experimental research. Since 1968 he works as indipendent professional man in the fields of forest and pasture management, conservation and restoration of the natural ichthyic resources, wild fauna management, and applied ecology for the conservation and/or improvement of the environment.
Within such activity he discovers the importance of the snow factor and, since 1970, he specializes in nivology attending courses by the Italian Alpine Club (CAI), the IFNV (Davos, Switzerland), the ANENA (Grenoble, France) and several international congresses. Since 1972 he starts as well his activity as snow and avalanche consultant for public and private institutions all over Italy,
both at the project level and teaching vocational training courses cooperating, among others, with the Agricultural and Forestry Sciences Department of the University of Florence, the Earth Science Department of the University of Ferrara, and the Italian Avalanche Service (SVI), of which he has been President from 1985 to 1989, of the Italian Alpine Club (CAI).
Stefano Bondanelli:
born in Ferrara in 1964, he graduates in Geological Sciences at the University of Ferrara in 1988. In the same year he specializes in nivology attending courses by the Italian Alpine Club (CAI). Since 1990 he has taken an interest in applied computer sciences, especially for what concerns territory management.
He teached Geographics Information Systems at University of Ferrara, Earth Sciences Departement.
He has recently coordinated a project, for Geologists' Association of the Province of Ferrara, developed together with several local authorities, leading to the publication on the web (www.assogeologi.it) of one of the first national instances of "on line" GIS dedicated completely to the geological-environmental aspects of the territory.
Gabriella Gregori:
born in Trento in 1967, she get her diploma as Translator and Interpreter at the Scuola Superiore di Lingue Moderne per Interpreti e Traduttori of the University of Trieste in 1995. She is currently working as freelance translator.
